It’s the first day of school for Ms Sadie Rose! We started obedience training, but I’m not gonna lie – this is for me to learn how to be a good dog mom. I have never had a puppy and I have no idea what I am doing.
Today we learned focus, touch, sit, stand and down. Now we are sitting on the couch napping to rest our tired brains from thinking and learning so much.

My life changed dramatically when my husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer in 2018, and I am now a writer for a leading Canadian Cancer Non-Profit.
I am lucky enough to have a family that loves me and pushes me to be my best, even if it is outside of my cushiony comfort zone. I have a village of friends that nourish me, mentally, and spiritually.
