Earnest Ice Cream – Making Zero Waste and Vegan Treats

My kids and I have dealt with food intolerances and allergies for most of our lives, limiting our options for dining and summer treats. I m so grateful for places like Earnest Ice Cream that allows my kids to read a list of vegan ice cream options with this same look of intense concentration that kids all over the world have when choosing a flavour of ice cream. Not only are there vegan choices, but Earnest also is a Zero Waste restaurant, where the to-go pints come in reusable glass jars!

Originally intended to simply focus on book reviews, over time, KaliDesautelsReads has morphed into its own entity. I am lucky enough to have a family that loves me and pushes me to be my best, even if it is outside of my cushiony comfort zone.
