Seriously… I’m Kidding is Ellen DeGeneres’ extremely funny memoir-ish book. I have trouble classifying it as a memoir, although there are stories from about five years (2006-2011) of her life and success; I also have trouble classifying as a success-driven inspirational book, encouraging the reader to never give up, although there is certainly that as well; I also have trouble classifying it as purely a Humour book, but there are chapters teaching you how to be a supermodels, a chapter on The Secret of Life (I shan’t spoil it for you…) I loved this book so much, I was listening to it on CD at work, and more than a dozen times I had to cover my mouth to keep from letting out a loud guffaw. Read it. Read it. Oh, and please don’t forget to read it!!
