@rfempower has joined forces with @kalidesautelsreads to host our very own Virtual Book Club. Kali and I met thanks to @msrachelhollis when she created a facebook group for her Canadian based followers.

Kali and I connected through this group over our love of personal development and self-improvement books and general passion for reading.

I have followed Mrs. Hollis on social media for a while now and have been meaning to buy her book, after all I see so many of her quotes and many of them resonate with things happening in my world and they empower me to be better, so this was a no brainer. Now I had to buy the book “Girl Wash Your Face”. So….it was a very quick and easy decision to find others out there who also share our love of books and the power those words have to empower us in different ways. And we officially launched Virtual Book Club.

How does Virtual Book Club work?

1. Each month we will announce the book for the following month so that you have time to acquire and read/listen to the book.

2. last Sunday of the month 7pm (Pacific Time) we’ll all get into our comfiest house clothes, pour a glass/mug of our favourite beverage and settle down in front of our 💻 📱 to join an online community of 📚🤓 to talk about the book. We will have some pre-prepared questions to help get the conversation started and away we go.

How do I join Virtual Book Club?

Post in the comments or send me a message and I’ll send you an invite. This invite will contain the title of the book and nearer to the date a link to the virtual book club meeting itself. If you can’t join us for our first Virtual Book Club on August 26, never fear, get the invite anyway and see what books we’ll be reading next.
