Sitting with Dave through this involves some time sent away from his bedside, whilst the nurses and doctors perform their tasks and activities. Hospital Update – Dave came through the surgery fine. He has received the ileostomy (reversible) instead of the colostomy (permanent). We have not yet seen his surgeon and won’t until at least tomorrow. He is resting, but quite uncomfortable. He cannot have visitors for a little while yet, at least until they can get his…
