If you are looking for something fun to do with older kids in the Lower Mainland, I recommend Pumpkins After Dark in Burnaby. I say older kids not because it is scary, but because it is dark, and there is a lot of walking and I am not sure little ones would get as much out of it as older kids. It is very cool to see all the carved pumpkins lit up and the detail of the carving is phenomenal. We went last night and it goes until Halloween. It was fun because for each set up there was music to make it an entirely immersive experience.
The best part for me was that it was family friendly, so no one jumped out to scare you and there wasn’t any gore.
