So I made an apple pie with frozen pie crust and decided to make a reel about it. I am not very good at making reels… I feel self-conscious talking, singing, dancing, or lip syncing to my phone, so I tend to avoid making them.
But guess what? Instagram has made it so popular to make reels that it is hard to get views if you don’t post them.
Don’t get me wrong – I love watching other people’s reels, but I just do not come off as natural, and my benign essential tremor leads to some very shaky, Blair-Witch-Project-y camera work.
I don’t know how other people find the confidence to do them so much, but I have decided that I will give them a try… when I feel like it.
Because at the end of the day, posting things and creating things is supposed to be fun.
So all that to say – I made a reel, and it is not great but it’s also not terrible. And I had fun (sort of) making a pie.
