Below is the emotional appeal from his family.
“As many of you know, my brother Robert has been missing for two and a half years. We are no closer today to finding out what happened to him than we were when he first went missing. The Winnipeg Police Missing persons unit held a press conference just over a year ago and said that they suspected Robert has been the victim of foul play. While at the same time, they have not been able to provide our family with any proof as to what may have happened to him. No suspects have been arrested. No charges have been laid.
We are desperate for answers as to what happened to Robert or by some miracle where he might be. In collaboration with Crime Stoppers and the Missing persons unit of the WPS, our family would like to launch a billboard campaign within the city of Winnipeg as well as be able to offer a reward for information. Someone out there knows something, and we are desperate for any information. The unfortunate side of all of this is these types of things all cost large amounts of money. There are no grants or financial assistance that offer support to families in these types of situations and all forms of advertisements, flyers, or campaigns outside of the Police services are on the families to fund. In these economic times, these types of funds are just not a reality within our family and so we are kindly asking if you are able, please consider donating and help us find out what happened to Robert. If you are not able, sharing our Go Fund me is just as important to help spread awareness.
We need answers. We deserve answers. Robert deservers justice.
