Soooooo Everest Day 12 turned out to be quite the adventure – I had a cortège with me, and we all went up the hill. My huffing and puffing was markedly reduced, Danielle looked like she was a member of a SWAT team with her 40lbs weight vest, L ran down his favourite hill, and raced Uncle Ty, and when us ladies caught up with them (thank you for not making me run down the hill!!) we found Ty bringing a log that Dave has wanted down a hill. Between the two of them Ty and Heather lugged this beast of a hunk of wood back to my house – a good 4 blocks (long) blocks away.
In the end, I am pretty sure that they all got “weigh” (sorry, I’m bad for puns) more exercise than I did, but it was fun! And also – it was their rest day…
